Identificazione dei pidocchi sui polli Un cliente mi ha portato il gancio in questa foto e mi ha chiesto se potevo vedere cosa c'era che non andava. I sintomi dei pidocchi sui tuoi chook sono rossi, chiazze di pelle calve sul corpo del chook, piume eccessivamente sciolte dentro e intorno al nido, grappoli di minuscole uova bianche appariranno sullo stelo delle piume come in questa immagine e i chook smetteranno di deporre uova. Questo particolare uccello ha avuto un caso estremo di infestazione da pidocchi. KIVERM per il trattamento delle infestazioni da vermi intestinali nel pollame I sintomi della presenza di vermi nel pollame possono includere diarrea, aspetto trasandato o malsano o sembrare depressi e smetteranno di deporre le uova. Tratta i tuoi uccelli per i vermi ogni tre mesi. Usa l'inizio di ogni nuova stagione come guida per ricordarti quando somministrare il trattamento in primavera, estate, autunno e inverno. Posatoi piatti o rotondi? I posatoi di legno piatti dovrebbero essere utilizzati con un'area in piedi larga 3" x 2" di profondità. I posatoi rotondi creano problemi di salute interni ed esterni per il pollame. I posatoi piatti aiutano a distribuire meglio il peso degli uccelli sull'osso della chiglia rispetto ai posatoi rotondi che possono anche distorcere la loro corazza e possibilmente causare la pancia dell'acqua che molte persone scambiano per il loro uccello legato alle uova. Alex Schembri 08.06.1929 - 15.06.2020 I SUGGERIMENTI DI ALEX PER UNA BUONA PRODUZIONE DI UOVA Il feed del tuo chook è molto importante, usa SURE TO PLEASE 16% di pellet di strato proteico e assicurati di mantenere una quantità costante di questo mangime davanti a loro in ogni momento, non dovrebbero mai rimanere senza mangime. I tuoi uccelli avranno meno stress se li manterrai con lo stesso mangime che abbiamo dato loro, infatti questo vale per tutto il bestiame. Mentre nutrire gli avanzi di verdure ai tuoi chook può sembrare un piacere, può sbilanciare la loro dieta e ridurre il numero di uova che depongono. I vermi della farina secca sono un'ottima alternativa per il pollame, sono ricchi di proteine e aminoacidi. Dai da mangiare a circa 5 vermi al giorno grazie al loro alto contenuto proteico. Non somministrare grano o mais in più poiché ciò sbilancia il 16% di proteine, questo è il fattore più importante per le pollastre ovaiole. Spargi ogni giorno una manciata di mix per grattare a terra per incoraggiare le galline a grattare la lettiera. L'acqua pulita è un must e dovrebbe essere costantemente disponibile.
